We were looking for a coffee and something to eat when we saw the Retro Cafe sign advertising a toasted sandwich and coffee for $13. This was for takeaway but we wanted to sit inside, which cost extra. Our toasted sandwich and coffee was just perfect for us. Service was great, waiting time wasn't long all served with a smile. Our whole experience was great and highly recommend checking this cafe out.

Had a wonderful meal at The Retro Cafe in Salamanca, Hobart. The food was fresh and beautifully presented, the eggs on toast were cooked perfectly, the salad was crisp and colourful, and the tea was served with care. The team went above and beyond to ensure my meal was completely garlic-free, which I truly appreciate as I am anaphylactic to garlic. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
