We were given a gift voucher for our engagement, and it was one of the best meals we've shared together. A little crammed as our table was right at the front next to the fire hydrant and it was noisy and hard to hear, it didnt stop us from enjoying the great food. We wished the knew how big the chicken dish was, as we wete full after sharing the mini cheeseburgers, salt and vinegar potato scallops and the pumpkin ravioli was one of the best dishes.

Best meal I’ve had in a long time. Why did it take me so long to find this place. The beef tartare, crispy chilli eggplant, lemony gnocchi and barramundi were all outstanding. Hard to pick a favourite. The banoffee pie was DEVINE. We’ll be back!

I had a wonderful evening at Eighty Six last Friday with my partner visiting from out of town. We opted for the set menu, and after asking our waiter to recommend a wine pairing, her selection complemented every course beautifully. Each dish was absolutely delicious, and by the end of the meal we left thoroughly satisfied. The food, wine, and service were all exceptional. Awesome little bar restaurant bar with a cheerful vibe. We had the best seats in the house sitting at the kitchen bar watching the chefs in action and having some friendly banter along the way. The shared plates we had were the crispy eggplant, the salmon and green mango salad, the Broccolini, Kale and hazelnut salad and the pumpkin and sage tortellini. Everything we tried was delicious, paired with a couple of glasses of reisling. It was definitely a team approach between the staff with everyone going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I wish this place was closer to home it would be
