We had dinner for a birthday celebration. Food was very good and enough portions. The service of the staff was good but the waiting time for our food after the order was very long. It took nearly an hour for us to get our food, though we are a big group as well. The ambiance was okay, there’s room for improvement though. I totally don't understand why all the meat was not hot at all, make me feels like it just taken out of fridge and reheated by microwave. When I arrived there's not so many people inside so the kitchen should have enough to cook, but they are truly providing me with cold(around 40 degrees) steak, pork and sausage. I'll see the best thing on the plate was the potato. We were staying at the Avenue hotel and ate here for breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and hard to fault. I really enjoyed their espresso cookies, Mexican beans, wilted spinach, grilled tomato, portobello mushrooms, Greek yoghurt, freshly cut mango, sourdough toast. The only thing missing was barista coffee and freshly squeezed juice. Coffee was available but from an all in one machine. Friendly service and a good chef. Would highly recommend.
