I visited for the first time last Tuesday and ordered the special steak lunch. The steak was delicious and the lunch special was great value. The atmosphere was also very nice. My English isn’t very fluent, but Dianne was incredibly patient and kind. She took the time to help me understand the menu and made sure I felt comfortable throughout my visit. Her service was warm, professional, and very thoughtful. She even brought a beer to the table for me, which I really appreciated. Dianne made my first visit a very pleasant experience. A real architectural gem, replicating a British pub. Large with many areas of seating. Wonderful friendly service from our senior host. Snapper & Prawn Spring Rolls filled with a dense full flavoured filling. Absolutely delish. Chicken Gyoza, again with good quantity of tasty filling. Both dishes (& all menu) is house made.

I've been here many times over the years and it remains one of my favourite venues in Brisbane. The riverside location creates a great atmosphere, with fantastic views and a relaxed setting that's equally suited to a casual lunch, after-work drinks, or catching up with friends. The lunch specials are excellent value and offer a great range of quality pub meals. The portions are generous, the food is consistently good, and the service is always friendly and welcoming.
