Incredibly good restaurant Super nice Japanese staff, the food is absolutely amazing and reasonably priced. They also serve the Ramen with cold tea which is also really nice. Very quick with serving, for the ramen it is almost instant. The gyoza, because they have to bake it, takes around 5 minutes. They offer extra noodle serving for just $3.50 if you’re a big eater and they also have (simple) rice dishes Its a pity I’m only in Cairns for 3 days, otherwise I would come here weekly! Definitely check this place out, its amazing!

The atmosphere in here is very nice, almost felt like being in Japan. Staff were very friendly and the free tea is a nice incentive.🍃 The ramen itself is delicious but we thought it was lacking something, a background taste but couldn’t quite put our finger on it. There wasn’t much meat on the meal either but for $19 you can’t complain too much. 🍜

If you are looking for ramen with a very good broth, this is the place to be. You absolutely must try the Mukashi ramen. It’s based on a secret recipe from the chef’s grandmother that dates back to the Shōwa period, and you can really taste that authentic, nostalgic depth in every spoonful.

We came here in the evening and it seems to be a popular restaurant in this location. When we entered we were the first in queue as it was full. Though it seems like there was clearly not enough staff. There were multiple tables empty waiting to be cleaned, but they had nobody to do so, so we waited more than 15 minutes even though there were tables empty. The ramen itself, it was definitely not our cup of tea. The soup was not tasty at all, very oily.
