This place does some seriously good Chinese food! The honey chicken was absolute perfection – crispy outside, juicy inside, and that sweet-sticky sauce is dangerously addictive, I could’ve eaten another whole plate 😍 The dry-fried green beans were next level too – super wok hei flavour, still had a nice crunch, garlicky and just the right amount of heat. Really tasty! Saw other people’s dumplings coming out and they looked plump, but honestly I was already stuffed to the brim haha. Next time I’m coming back with more stomach space specifically for those dumplings! Highly recommend this spot

Sensational actual real chinese food sold here and not your Aussie Chinese restaurant; table service was enough too. We didn’t expect such a great meal in a tourist town. Feedback though, if you’re going to call your business “Dumpling Bar”, I’d expect to see at least 10-15 selections of dumpling dishes to select from on the menu unless this is intentionally to be false to attract customers.

Wow! Just wow! We walked in and were greeted warmly. We sat outside and were quickly presented with the menu and shown how to order. When we asked for recommendations, the wonderfully helpful hostess answered our questions, showed us how to order and ensured that our dietary requests were highlighted. The pan fried large pork dumplings were a flavour explosion. Then came the wontons in red chilli oil. Don’t be too scared of the level of spice as they are simply brilliant. Then we tried Kung Pao chicken- what a taste sensation…. Such a great dish. We also had the special spicey fried rice… and

Absolutely delicious meal! The stir-fried beef was incredibly tender and packed with rich, savoury flavour, perfectly balanced with fresh vegetables and a glossy sauce that went so well with rice. The fried rice was light, fragrant, and not greasy at all — you could really tell it was cooked properly with good technique. Portions were generous, food came out hot and fresh, and everything tasted authentically made. This is the kind of comforting, satisfying Chinese food you keep thinking about after the meal. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends!
