Popular local community pub with a fabulous Italian restaurant inside. Great daily specials. Fantastic cocktails. Happy Hours. Warm welcoming fires amd mulled wine on offer during this colder season was a nice surprise. Staff were friendly but I feel they need more hands on deck at weekends.

Valentine’s Day lunch at The Queens is our regular tradition, but this year was exceptionally good. Server Will was friendly and attentive and the seafood platter for two was outstanding. The suggestions for accompanying entrees and drinks were right on and solid. No notes, a very satisfying experience all round.
