Bread + Butter is a lovely bakery and café with a clean, modern atmosphere. The space feels bright and open with high ceilings and large windows that bring in plenty of natural light. The interior is simple and stylish, making it a nice spot to relax and enjoy good pastries and coffee. The display is full of freshly baked croissants, danishes, and other pastries, and everything looks amazing. Such a cute and lovely place. The coffee was honestly the best I’ve had in Tasmania – so good. I usually only have one coffee, but it was so good I finished it straight away and ended up getting another one. The food was also delicious and everything just made me so happy. Tried this place after getting sooo many recommendations and honestly wasn’t expecting too much… but we were VERY wrong 😭✨ We ordered the pain au chocolat, savoury danish, and cardamom pretzel, and somehow even the “simple” pastries tasted insanely good. Found this cafe based on a recommendation by the uber driver. Hopped over for a quick breakky and coffee close to opening hour on the morning. The menu wasn't vast as would be typical of a usual breakfast cafe. The breads here, obviously, as its a bakery are fresh and tastes great. got the two eggs on sourdough. Nothing exceptional, it did what it was meant to do- deliver well, what it makes.
