Finally dined here after wanting to go for a long time. The service was incredible and so attentive. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. However some of the dishes really didn’t meet the high expectations that we had held before dining here. The most hyped up dish being the lobster roll turned out to lack flavour and was unfortunately quite forgettable. The Korean rice cakes were delicious and a great serving size. The pickled vegetables were also delicious, however consisted mostly of cucumbers, not an array of various vegetables as you may be lead to believe by the name of the dish.

A lively, busy and happening modern restaurant which would be good for a casual meal with friends. The staff were lovely and friendly, very attentive and service speedy. A lot of the food we had was fairly average, no on stand out flavours, but enjoyable. We thought the standard improved throughout the meal, with our favourites being the steak, greens and the desserts - we had the peanut butter parfait and the baked custard with ginger and rhubarb. What an absolute delicious experience! My friends and I were visiting from Adelaide and knew we had to visit Supernormal for the first time. Due to our group size (11), we had to get a banquet option which we didn’t complain about at all. There are two banquet options: $90 and $130, the latter includes way more seafood like lobster and all that fancy stuff. We aren’t too fussed with seafood so we opted for the $90 PP banquet. The banquet menu is bountiful and the round of courses seem to never stop! Entrees upon entrees and mains upon mains, then finish off with a lovely peanut butter sort

This place was recommended by my boss, as it’s his go-to spot whenever he’s in Melbourne. I’m so glad I took his advice and gave it a try. The entrées were definitely the highlight, while the main courses were good, but not particularly amazing. The standout for me was the lobster roll. It’s absolutely to die for! The flavours were perfect, and it was cooked to perfection. I also thoroughly enjoyed the tuna and mussel salad. We’ll definitely be back for that lobster roll!
