If heaven was a pastry spot, it would be Bakemono. Biting into the flaky, crispy, layers of the Almond Croissant was such a satisfying mouthfeel experience. I'm not much into almond croissants but this particular one has officially got me into them now. I personally would prefer a stronger yuzu flavor, but it was amazing either way! The blueberry danish is the best I've ever had. All the layers was so satisfying to bite into. The custard wasn't too sweet -- creamy yet light. Got there at 8 am on a weekday. A short line but it moved quickly! Staff was so friendly and warm to greet us before

Visited on 25/05 10:30am! We got a variety of pastries, and the highlight definitely was the shiopan and kouign-amann. Honestly, everything we got was a piece of laminated, edible art. The pain au choc was humongous and airy, and had enough butter to instil happiness but also arterial plaques. Usually, douse anything in caramelised sugar and butter and Id love it but hate myself, but Bakemono is definitely worth the Stairmaster. There was around a 5 min wait, and there was a good selection of pastries when we arrived. Would definitely go back for the caneles next time.

We arrived around 9.15am on Sunday and the queue wasn’t too bad. By the time we left around 9.30am, the line had gotten quite long, so definitely worth coming early. We asked for recommendations, and they suggested the almond yuzu croissant for something sweeter, and the shokupan for a lighter, less sweet option. We tried both. Personally, I preferred the shokupan, it was light, soft bit of cruchie, and easy to eat. The almond yuzu croissant was definitely richer and better suited for those who enjoy sweeter pastries. It actually reminded me a lot of the pastries from Lune Croissanterie. Pr

For me, hands down the best blueberry danish I’ve had so far. There was a line out the door but it moved rather quickly as there was a display with the available pastries so people can decide WHILE THEY WAIT and not feel too pressured to take up too much time when it’s their turn to order. The honey and salt pastry was interesting, slight savoury taste with the sweetness. It was super flaky and light, but the honey flavour was quite overpowering and I personally would prefer a bit more saltiness. The Dubai chocolate “cookie” (I really think this is a misnomer as it’s clearly a mochi) was sof
