My group of three stumbled upon Max on Hardware during a random walk on Saturday night, and we are so glad we did! The restaurant had a fantastic vibe, packed with a lively crowd and a great atmosphere that felt instantly welcoming. What blew us away was how incredibly fast the service was. It was a wet cold night so they moved us inside. Staff were amazing. My daughter's order was wrong, so they sent it back and because it took a while to replace they have us a free dessert!! I had lamb shanks and the meat just fell off the bone and was totally yummo!! 😋

Was trying to decide on dinner- staff were friendly and made suggestions for dinner. Would highly recommend the appetisers plate so you get a good idea of flavours. The lasagne was lovely with large pieces of slow cooked meat and extra sauce. I'd happily go back and get a big plate of the calamari! 😍🐙♥️

Great place to eat. Very busy for a Wednesday night (maybe I’m just used to Sydney eateries being too quiet mid-week). Food was so good. We had a Margherita pizza and Buratina gnocchi. The sauce was so good, creamy and tomato flavoured. Will definitely come here again. Highly recommended!
