I had a fantastic experience at this establishment. I booked an event for a Surprise Birthday Party. The staff were very accommodating. They allowed for dietary requirements, that had beautiful mannerisms, they confirmed and checked in on details numerous times and were so sweet. It was during the storms; one Team Member jumped on the wet table to set up the umbrellas. sitting in the cold rain to provide us with warmth. Their food was great. Disappointing behaviour from closing staff tonight, from an established hospo bar in the community. My partner and I got home from a birthday and decided to have a late night walk (11pm Saturday night) with our dogs. We stopped in at 399 for a drink and bumped into some friends, my bank account suggests we were charged for pint of tiger and dirty martini at 11:36pm. We sat with our friends and had about 10 minutes before last drinks were called. Had the best night here! We booked the back private courtyard to hold an intimate engagement party with close family. It was the perfect spot for it! A couple meat/cheese platters and pizzas made a good accompaniment to the cool drinks from the bar. Stevie and the team was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure the night went smoothly. All the staff were super accomodating and proactive. We needed to play a video on the TV to announce that we’d eloped to our family and the team made sure we got it set up properly. 399 is unassuming from the outside, but greets you with a warm and cozy interior, with board games and comfortable seats. Drinks are reasonably priced and were absolutely delicious. To top this off, all the bartenders were friendly and accommodating. I had an excellent time and will definitely be coming back!
