Woolworths is located close to my hotel. There are plenty of discounted and promotional items, especially snacks, so I did not have to worry about buying snacks for souvenirs. The store uses a self-checkout system, and shoppers are required to bring their own shopping bags.

Really disappointed with my experience at this Woolworths store today. An item was clearly labelled on the shelf with a special price, but when I scanned it, it came up at the original full price. I asked a staff member to check what was going on. The poor girl was sent back and forth multiple times to verify it, and I was even asked to go and take a photo of the price tag myself as proof. In the end, a staff member at the front told me it wasn’t the same item because there was an 8-gram difference 😅 — yet somehow the single item price still matched the shelf label. It was all very confusing

Visited other stores earlier in the day and just found this store in the afternoon. Was thinking it is the same store but it is different access of entrance. Interestingly, they have two stores in the city center. The other one is not very far from here and it is still walking distance. It is located near the end of Murray street mall. Murray street is a must place to visit. It is a shopping center street. Many branded stores are here. It is a tourism area. The staff at this store are amazing. I lost my bag during my shop yesterday and they kindly agreed to look through all the footage and thankfully found where I left it. Jamie the customer service manager and the rest of the staff were super helpful and patient. Thank you once again!
