As we had a large group (13), we ate from the set menu and most of the dishes were ordered. The salmon gravlax was amazing. Beetroot salad looked great but was somewhat basic. For mains, people enjoyed the rigatoni al gin. But very mixed feelings about the scotch fillet. It was very thin, some servings were quite fatty, and it was very salty. Staff were great though, very friendly and attentive.

We visited Jackson’s on George about a month ago, I was part of a reservation on the rooftop on quite a busy night. We enjoyed the food that was served and the cocktails made by a tall Irish staff member (I forget his name). This staff member was fantastic, sat us at our table, talked us clearly through the menu/ questions we had and was very patient on such a busy night. I’m assuming he is a manager, he seems very experienced as he directed some chaos and colleagues calmly whilst making us cocktails on the fly as we had drank most of the on menu cocktails!
