A meal in the bar includes much traffic entertainment outside the large windows. Today the Specials board has a Chinese new year theme. The house made duck spring rolls were amazing. Panko crumbed prawns and Beef & Guinness pie were also delicious. A friendly bar host provided great service and a chat. Highly recommended.

Love the takeaway option love the kids menu very reasonably priced. Never have been let down by the racecourse Hotel. The food is delicious. The staff are wonderful and if they had a kids playground we would go there every single week. Highly recommend for a night out for dinner and they do special Parma night and a pot on Wednesday. And it’s just a fun loving atmosphere

It's a great place to spend time with mates. Or if all your friends side busy then the locals there are very friendly and don't mind if you join in on their chat. It has a small country town pub feel and I can't praise staff along with their service enough. There is a pokies venue at the rear of hnd premises which has around 40 to 50 machines. The restaurant has a large selection of beautifully cooked meals which won't hurt your purse strings a great deal. All up great place with great people, delicious food and fantastic staff.

Disappointed in the food we ordered, we had corn beef which was a grey colour and mash that looked like Deb and the colour was off. We paid $20 for a senior meal which is fine but they shouldn't dish out sub standard food to seniors. We won't be back.
