This is my second visit here while exploring Vienna, and I am still captivated, just as I was the first time. The only difference is that last time, I was incredibly fortunate to experience a stunning live performance by talented local musicians, which truly touched my soul. Sadly, they weren't here this time, but the warmth and authenticity of this place remain unforgettable. Every dish we've selected has been absolutely delicious and true to its roots. You can simply choose from the menu or, if you're feeling inspired, pick "by eyes" and craft your own perfect plate near the buffet corner. A

We arrived in Grinzing early on a Tuesday in December, most taverns open from 3pm onwards and are closed on Monday and Tuesday. This tavern was one of a few that opened, its warm lights invited us in to experience Austrian heuriger vibes. We ordered some drinks and baked apple ring was our favourite. This seasonal dessert is so fresh and tasty.
