Quite possibly the best Austrian food in Vienna. And it's not just that the food isn great, but the staff is super friendly and attentive. We've been there a dozen times now and it never disappoints. This all leads to a very loyal following from the neighborhood, and it's rare to see tourists out here. That said, it's less than 20 minutes from the city center via the #40 tram. Just go to the last station and your there ! They have a daily prix fixe menu option and Thursday is my favorite with the very generous Wiener Schnitzel. This is a typical Viennese pub with a nice garden in summer. The food is very good which has its price, though. But the quality is high. They have a nice sortiment of Austrian beer and wine. There are many locals visiting and I recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment. The location is not close to the city, but the journey is easy and certainly a good investment.
