Gasthaus Peschta is an amazing typical Viennese restaurant. After 12 years spent in Austria, you really get to know if it is the real deal or not. This is definitely the real deal! The staff is extremely helpful and forthcoming, they are quick and always have a good recommendation. We had a very generous portion of Schnitzel and Krenfleisch (pig belly with horseradish) which were both very very well done. There are dishes with fish and vegetarian options as well. Classic Viennese Beisl, the usual menu for such places, and delivering exactly what you want -- hearty food at a fair price in a cozy atmosphere. Also, the service was prompt and pleasant. I had the Cordon Bleu, and it was tasty with the local Zwickl beer. Everything was as it should be.
