A wonderful surprise at Chinacy Even though the restaurant was full, we still got a spot and immediately felt well taken care of. The staff were friendly, efficient, and clearly well‑trained. The variety of dishes — especially the Chinese tapas — is impressive and refreshingly innovative, with a few fusion-style touches that work beautifully. The food was excellent across the board, modern in style yet full of flavor, and the portions were surprisingly large for tapas. Considering the quality and creativity, the price‑performance ratio couldn’t be better. A place we’d happily return to.

This restaurant exceeded our expectations for Asian food. Fast, friendly, service. Our first tantalizing bites were of the chicken Gyoza, amazing. I had the teriyaki salmon, perfectly tender and great blend of flavors. My husband equally enjoyed the black pepper beef. Drinks were on point and refreshing. We visited in the evening and very busy but they quickly got us a table and service was very quick as well. Definitely worth the visit.

This review was from multiple visits to Chinacy during our Vienna trip over 10 days ago. We fell for Chinacy at the original location in MuseumsQuartier. Our first visit left a "very" strong impression with delicious and inventive flavors, great execution, warm, attentive and friendly service -- though we couldn't take photos that night because we had to drop our phones at the Apple Store for new batteries. The dishes we remember ordering from the original location were all delicious: Wan Tan Soup (perfect for a cold and rainy day), Classic Pork Bao Bun, Siu Mai, Sweet & Sour Shanghai Ribs.

This place is spectacular — you do need to make a reservation, but it’s absolutely worth it. If you’re going with someone, I highly recommend ordering tapas so you can try a variety of dishes and really experience everything they offer. The service is also very good, which makes the whole experience even better. Overall, a place I would definitely recommend.
