This is a great place for food sharing with friends! The taco’s are one of the best ones I have tasted in Belgium so far. They really get the real Mexican taste in them! One by one very delicious. I would recommend everyone to go and try this place. It is a bit on the pricey side for the size of dish but the flavours are incredible! Service was a little slow, when ordering extra drinks we received it after our last dish arrived unfortunately. The Paloma (cocktail) tastes very good tho! 9/10 just missing the salty rim on the glass to receive a 10/10 for being the real deal!

Good Mexican food, but giving 4 stars as I've had better back in the UK. Although they had nice fresh flavours, I did think it could have been more flavourful. It was very pricey for tapas style dishes, which each dish of 3 small tacos costing between €12.50-€14 each.. and when you need to order 4-5 dishes between 2 people, this adds up quick! I didn't like how they serve the dishes, making you wait for your next tapas dish until you've finished the previous ones. I've been to plenty of Mexican tapas places where they cook it all fresh to order (like this one), but it just keeps coming out.

I really loved the atmosphere and service here at Bar Ami. It’s a great place for a drink and a small bite. Our food and drinks came to us very quickly and accurately. However the portions are quite small and expensive (they advised us to order several plates, but it’s costly per plate). We ordered the chile verde tacos and the pollo tamale, both of which were okay, but nothing special. We also got the lengua tacos, which were my favourite, especially with the sauce. Worth a visit for the lengua, and maybe next time with a bigger budget ;)
