I tried this restaurant for the first time during my visit to Bruges and it was a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, right in the center of Bruges, making it a very convenient stop while exploring the city. The food was absolutely delicious. Courteous and friendly staff. The restaurant was lovely but there was sufficient spacing between tables to allow for privacy. The food was really excellent- lamb cooked to perfection, flavoursome and soft; and my husband had lemon sole that was equally delicious. Very good and growing selection too. Highly recommended.

Wandering around Brugge on a rainy night we found De Koetse. What an amazing find!! A family owned and run restaurant. Bishal and family are so incredible and welcoming. Food was incredible. I had the lamb, my wife had the sea bass and my daughter had the garlic prawns. All were excellent. Fantastic wine list, and dessert was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re visiting Bruges. I will be back next time I’m in Bruges. If you are heading to Bruges, please please have a meal at De koetse. You will not be disappointed! We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with them and they made our night! The food was delicious and the service was just amazing. They made us feel very special. Even moving tables so we could dance to our first song dance from 30 years ago. It was a magical night.
