I ordered the veggie platter and watched as it was assembled- incredible care taken, with lots of fresh veggies, a variety of sauces added. I was stunned at the huge variety and quantity I received, along with a pot of mint tea, for only 11 Euros. The food was delicious; the staff were very kind; the atmosphere was appealing and pleasant. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

We had just arrived in Brussels and were hungry and looking for an early meal. We really stumbled on Al Shami. It was absolutely phenomenal. Excellent kabobs with wonderful sides including delicious baba ganoush and hummus. We were warmly welcomed and ordered the large platter which fed four very hungry adults with lots of leftovers. I'd recommend it very highly to anyone who enjoys this cuisine.
