We absolutely loved this fully vegan restaurant! We discovered this place when looking for brunch and we are so glad we did! The brunch and lunch range was brilliant, from pancakes to tofu scramble. Everything was so flavoursome and as a non-vegan blooming delicious! We loved it so much we came back for dinner! I had the best croquettes I’ve ever had and a lovely seitan steak! Overall, lovely food and staff! The menu is in Dutch but an English menu is available when scanning the QR code to order. The space is also beautiful. Light and airy! Overall, a brilliant fully vegan restaurant!

Beautiful, bright & spacious vegan restaurant with a small local grocery store in the heart of Ghent. (a little hidden in a small street) The stylish interior combines natural materials with elegant accents, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. I already had lunch there twice and I have never been disappointed. They offer a great variety of healthy and tasty dishes and also a nice selection of yummy desserts. Friendly and easy going service. A must-visit for vegan food lovers when in Ghent!

We were looking for vegan restaurants in Ghent and found know&kool. The place is very spacious and offers different seating options and also includes a vegan grocery store. We came for lunch, ordered a soup and the lasagne - as we always have to try a vegan lasagne if there is the option. The food was just delicious. One critique from our side: service was not very attentive and it took quite some time to order, ask questions or pay the bill.
