5 stars. Excellent dinner after a long day exploring Ghent. The pizza recommendation from our server was perfect. The strong local cheese paired surprisingly well with both the IPA and the Sicilian wine. Great balance of flavors and a nice mix of Italian comfort food with Belgian atmosphere. Service at the table was warm and helpful throughout the evening. One supervisor seemed a bit grumpy when I came in speaking English, but it honestly became part of the authentic European dining experience and didn’t take away from the meal. We visited as a party of 10 on Tuesday evening, we were seated promptly ( without having a reservation) the service was great, very welcoming. The food was tasty. The place was busy but very efficient. The food is authentic Italian, we highly recommend a visit.
