last night, while attempting to meet my mutuals inside. I was being deny entry by the bald bouncer apparently based solely on the color of my skin. Belgium literally has three national languages. As someone who speaks one of those three, being denied entry just because I don’t speak the other ones is honestly unreasonable, deeply disrespectful and makes zero sense. I really wish people would practice a bit more empathy and be a lot less ignorant in the way they treat their another human being. In this big 2026, discrimination like this should not be tolerated under any circumstances. its hone

Very nice live event on this evening, thoughtful music. The bar is very nice too and feel very comfortable, smiling people, great atmosphere and the incredible Belgian beer.

The Security guard straight up nicely told us to our faces he wouldn’t let us in because we weren’t European (black). When asked to clarify, he said only Europeans allowed in. I guess the poor man was just doing his hob because he initially had asked for our European Passports.

The security guard said we weren’t allowed in because we don’t speak Dutch, even though we came with Belgian friends. This is clearly discriminatory.
