The place is small and it was packed completely. Tables were small and dishes were rather big so it wasn’t ideal. The food was good, tasty. Nonetheless, it took quite some time to get everything we ordered. I didn’t order sauce, they gave me sauce, one of my friends ordered croquettes, got fries… Service was friendly and spoke English which was appreciated. Toilet was upstairs. There was a weird smell coming from the kitchen, and we were talking about it, one of the waitresses confirm it was ammonia but didn’t explain anything else which was confusing. Simply delicious and very good quality for such a turistic place. Nice surprise. Everything we took was 5*! Moreover the view on cityhall is exceptional.

Great location with a cute terrace. The food is not extraordinary but still acceptable. The service is passive-agressive and almost rude. Instead of asking to clean your plates, they silently removed items one by one to disrupt your convo. The servers said so many fake niceties like "great choice" , "oh yes we made a very nice X dish", "let me help you choose" and then acted nothing like that. Grow up!

Great restaurant with delicious local food - tartar - and great local beer 🍺 Stella Artois. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere nice. The restaurant is right at the Grote Mart the heart of historic Leuven. As such this place is a perfect spot to enjoy good food and drinks after experiencing a stroll through Leuven.
