We came to the restaurant around 8 PM and ended up waiting nearly an hour just to get our food. Even though there were several servers around, no one seemed to attend to us or check on our table, which was quite disappointing. The entire place was filled with hookah smoke and the smell was very strong, making the dining experience uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the food did not make up for it either. I had a great experience at Shishalishous Restaurant.The shawarma was absolutely delicious fresh, and perfectly made. The shisha was also amazing, very smooth with great flavors. Food was bland. I ordered the lamb mandi and my husband ordered the shrimp mandi. The rice was meh, the shrimp was so overcooked and hard, the lamb tasted like air. I left my plate as it is and dis not eat anything. I asked them to give me salt because the food is super bland and he gives me small salt packets and didn’t even inquire. When we were leaving i left my plate as it is and no one inquired why i didn’t eat. Came here on a Friday night and it was such a vibe. The place is cozy with low lighting and good music, not too loud so you can still talk. Shisha was smooth and lasted a long time, and they were quick with coal changes without us even asking. Tons of flavour options and the mix we got was actually really good. It does get busy, so expect a bit of a wait on weekends, but honestly the energy makes it worth it. Definitely coming back.
