Asked for an iced mocha, they use chocolate milk and espresso for their mochas. Would much prefer if they used whole milk, chocolate sauce and espresso which I believe is the standard. Furthermore the person running the till taking my order seemed very indifferent to my presence. I didn’t feel welcomed. This was similar to the interaction from the barista, also indifferent to my presence. It’s not hard to smile at someone. UPDATE I have since been back, and am loving the lattes and food. Very, very good. The service is similar, definitely muted but still pleasant.

Great coffee and tea, chai is always on point and when you order in they give yoy big mugs to sip from. I typically get the London fog and I’ve never been disappointed. Nice people and quick but polite service, delicious baked goods in their displays as well if you’re hungry.

We stumbled across this coffee shop after a walk in Confederation Park, and so glad we did. From the outside, it’s unassuming, but step inside, and you’ll find a warm, inviting space perfect for a relaxed coffee break or a good conversation. They had a nice big coffee menu, and everything is freshly made. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese & tomatoes, along with a dirty chai latte. Both were delicious—the bagel had the perfect balance of crispness and softness, and the chai latte was smooth with just the right amount of spice. Ever since I moved into the neighborhood I like coming to this place or the Higher ground nearby on one of my days off. Its a really peaceful cafe to do my emails in, the staff are friendly and they have the best banana bread.
