First time dining here with our family, and we were absolutely impressed! The food was incredibly delicious—we couldn't stop enjoying every single bite. This place is truly a hidden gem in Brantford. The service was exceptional. Our server was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. The owner also came by several times to check on us and showed genuine care and kindness toward our little ones, which made our experience even more special. My husband and I went to Gran Sasso for Valentine’s Day dinner and it was fantastic! The server, Beth, was so lovely and patient with us while we decided between all of the amazing options. The chef is incredible and the attention to detail is so perfected. It’s a delight to enjoy an Italian meal in Brantford, and we will continue to go to Gran Sasso for a delicious meal! They have a beautiful patio in the summer too, it’s perfect.

WOW. My first visit and I cannot wait to be back. I snuck in last minute and graciously ordered a quick takeout and a glass of wine while I waited. The service was warm and inviting. The food, as I'm having it now - so so good and exactly what I was hoping for. I ordered the arancini and feature pasta: cacio e pepe. Very impressive portion size, very tasty dishes. We made reservations and arrived in time for our 6pm reservation. The entrance space is very tight and it took a few minutes before our presence was acknowledged. We were taken to a table. It was immediately evident that the heating/cooling system caused a draft at that table and is was very cold. We noticed that others in the restaurant were wearing their jackets and sweaters. I requested twice that the cold air draft be corrected. It was not and we were moved to another table. It was better but we were both still very cold throughout our dinner.
