On June 10, we visited this restaurant for dinner, and the experience exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. Although we did not have a reservation, we were greeted warmly and professionally by an extremely polite hostess who immediately made us feel welcome. Very disappointed. Have been there before and got great service. Last time was as if the goal was to show how customers experience is of zero importance to the l’Aurochs staff. We were served by our regular server, who’s been there for several years. He served us before and we always had a good time. This time, it was as if he was mandated to make us feel unwelcome. I read a review to try the Ribeye, and I did! I sat by an open window seat. The service was great, and the steak was delicious. I substituted the potatoes with mushrooms. It was the perfect side to complement the steak. I did not use peppercorn sauce because the steak & vegetables were delicious without. I ordered the triple chocolate cake for dessert. No worries about dessert menu in French because my server had the menu memorized. The cake was the perfect end to a delicious dinner. The music & sound was perfect level to enjoy with conversation.
