Visiting from Western Canada, we found ourselves strolling down Bank Street in search of something comforting and memorable. We had casually decided that ramen might be the answer, and by sheer luck we stumbled upon a newly opened spot tucked away on the upper floor at Laurier and Bank. What an unexpected gem. Really good ramen spot. The broth was flavorful, I personally preferred the soy sauce base with the pork option. (Other base options were not tasty, personally) For those who don’t eat pork, they also have a chicken option, which is nice. I also noticed they offer better vegetarian and vegan options compared to many other ramen places, which makes it a good choice for different dietary preferences. Best broth in Ottawa, no contest. Their clam shio is the most unique and best bowl of ramen in the city. A hidden second floor location on bank st in centretown, service is kind and quick. This place makes their components daily from scratch, with the mother daughter team training in Japan prior to opening the store. Consistent, have eaten here since they opened.
