We decided to try Loose Caboose for our Monday morning breakfast. We were instantly welcomed by Bruce and got a seat in front of the beautiful mural created in 1997! One by one tables started to fill with Bruce’s regulars, each with a warm “good morning Bruce!” We each got a coffee and a delicious breakfast. Bruce was so sweet and gave us the history behind his years of service at the Loose Caboose which is confirmed by his fan base! The Loose Caboose is very interesting café. When I came in, I got a table right away. I ordered the 2.2.2. breakfast with multigrain toast and scrambled eggs. The eggs were admirably good on their own, the toast was really great and the hashbrowns tasted much better than they look. The bacon were cooked excellently, along with the bacon. The coffee was okay, though I did not finish the first cup. The restaurant has a strong aesthetic for trains, more so than the Station Grill in Mission. I finally made it here to have breakfast 😋 . We got there this morning with our toddler was very friendly atmosphere and we were greeted with nothing but smiles. I have bin looking for a place that made hashbrowns JUST the way they were made here. I didnt get pics but I was absolutely amazed everything was perfect and tasted great. They treated my son (who is 3) very very well they made him feel cozy he also ate most of his breaky and he rarely does at restaurants so it was definitely a big like for him. We will definitely become regulars at the loose caboose 😃 😊

READ THIS!!!!!!!! Five stars isn’t enough for The Loose Caboose Café. I first met Bruce nearly 20 years ago, when my friends and I would stop in for breakfast on our way to school. Back then, it was just a great spot to eat. Now, years later, I walk through those same doors with my own kids—and we’re greeted just as warmly, with coffee for me and hot chocolate for them. As I sit here writing this, it really hits me what a monumental achievement this place represents.
