I’ve been to many cafes in Coquitlam, but Cafe Ciel has quickly become my absolute favorite hidden gem on The High St! The cozy, plant-filled atmosphere with beautiful natural light and plenty of outlets makes it the perfect spot to work or study for hours. We had our car dropped off for service nearby and walked around looking for a coffee shop. This was the nearest one 10min away so we checked it out. Wife likes their coffee and price is $4 standard. These little places are much better and more quiet than Starbucks and the other franchises. Very relaxing and we can have better conversation.

This is a welcoming little café with many indoor small green plants, which echo beautifully with the trees outside the big windows. The interior décor is warm and inviting, perfect for unwinding. While the coffee is decent, the chocolate cookie really stands out and is definitely worth trying. What I enjoyed most, though, was the music and overall vibe—it creates a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer.
