Namo Cafe Bistro served up a delicious brunch and we think back fondly on their fried chicken! On a rainy Sunday, we walked in and thankfully managed to get bar seats despite the crowded restaurant which albeit small, has a decently fast turnover. We ordered and drinks and food came quickly. At first I was doubtful with the fast service but boy the chefs did not disappoint. The banana French toast with creme brulee was nicely warm and tasty. Went to Namo Bistro for my birthday today, great food and even better customer service. We ordered Mushroom Bruschetta, Fruit and Nut French Toast, Mango Lassi and Hazelnut Latte. Everything was nicely presented and super tasty. Our server was so sweet, she even brought me a cute little Tiramisu pastry for my birthday... Definitely coming back again super sooon!!

I appreciate how the waitress was able to put us on a waitlist prior to us getting to the restaurant. We also appreciated their transparency on being halal inclusive and not exclusive however, I’d say the food was mediocre. The chicken Benny was lacking seasoning and felt a bit oily and heavy. The brisket bowl was good. The wedges were crispy and soft and the sauces had good balance of flavour.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an absolutely fantastic brunch experience (twice now) at Namo Cafe Bistro on Edmonton Trail in Calgary. They have 3 locations so likely one near you. LOVE it if you open in Legacy SE or Creekside SE — easily one of those places that keeps pulling you back. The menu selection is incredible — creative, globally inspired, and hard to narrow down.
