Stopped here during our stay in downtown Halifax, and it did not disappoint! Our server, Katie (I think) was great and super friendly. My sister and I split the Bbq chicken pizza and decided we were also going to split the Lobster Grilly with fries, and they ended up already dividing it on two plates for us which was a nice touch. The food was absolutely delicious, reasonably priced for the great view and serving size. Katie recommended we try their ice cream cart next door, Sweet and Salty (I think) and their swirl ice cream dipped in white chocolate was to die for, I loved it 😅

We had a great time at Salt Yard Social on the Halifax waterfront! The vibe is fantastic — lively yet relaxed, with a nice crowd and a DJ playing live music that really adds to the atmosphere. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy the waterfront and unwind. We started with the fried calamari as an appetizer — it was super fresh and perfectly cooked. The dip that came with it had a nice dill aroma that really elevated the dish. For mains, we had the fish and chips and the smashed burger. We were welcomed by the young hostess at the front desk & were seated immediately. We were then welcomed by a wonderful young lady named Emma!!! She was very personable & gave great reccomedations!!! Emma always had a smile & you can tell she loves her job. The Haddock sandwich was the best I have ever had!!! The hamburger was juicy & cooked to perfection!!! The fries were crispy!!!!! Just the way we love them!!! You guys are the BEST!!!!
