My boyfriend and I visited this place two days ago, and the food was absolutely amazing. I honestly can't remember the last time I had such a delicious shakshuka! My boyfriend was also very impressed with the Turkish coffee and the avocado toast. The atmosphere was fantastic as well. The artwork on the walls was absolutely stunning and gave the place a unique character. On top of that, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. If we ever find ourselves in Vancouver again, we'll definitely come back for breakfast. Highly recommended!

No resos but the line wasn't bad! Keep in mind they won't seat you until your entire party is present. The space inside is small but cozy. I loved the art and decor style! The food was also unique and delicious. I had the omelette and it was soooo soft. My friends had the avocado toast and the sausage skillet and they both enjoyed their meals as well. There is no ketchup on the table so if you would like some, then you need to ask!

What a special place! 😀 Covered with artwork and cozy nooks for seating, Cafe Portrait really has a vibe. The Middle Eastern breakfasts are phenomenal. Everything is gluten-free if you want it to be. They have a great selection of loose leaf tea served in pots with an elegant place setting. The music is jazzy and perfect. There is a 1-hour limit at the tables and for good reason because this place is very popular and quite petite. The Wi-Fi was 300 / 150 but you wouldn't want to pull out a computer here unless it was very early in the morning and not crowded. The owner has done everything rig

Got the number 9 and 12. Both delicious. Turkish coffee was ok. Cool decor. Lots of art on the walls and the table dividers are old frames so when you look around you see the other people as portraits. Friendly staff.
