Selected this venue for our 49th anniversary dinner. The food was excellent and Jamie, our attentive server made the experience memorable. I had the pan fried blackened halibut served over potato gnocchi while my wife had the Grilled Teriyaki Salmon with rice & vegetables. Both delicious.

Symposium cafe the past few months has become a place of comfort for me. The staff are incredibly lovely people, and great workers! As soon as you enter, you are warmly greeted! Often by name, too if you've been there before! The atmosphere is clean, nice and calming. Their menu has a wonderful variety and prices very competitive compared to others in town! The food is delicious, too! It's a nice place fir any occasion! Extremely special shout out to the ever so lovely Jamie. He is gem of the Symposium! Went to this location this evening to unwind and do a little work. I walked into a very busy restaurant however, I was seated immediately. The host was so nice and happy and welcoming. I chose the fish and chips special. It came out hot and cooked to perfection. Fish waa crispy. Good balance of batter to fish. Very light tasting. The french fries were perfectly.cooked as well. I also had the mini croffles. So so good. Flavourful. Who doesn't like the combination of croissant, strawberries, bananas, nutella, sweet cream cheese and whipped cream. Heaven.
