Love, love, love everything about this restaurant. The ambiance is warm and welcoming. The food is always on point. Their menu offers a lot of healthy and locally sourced deliciousness! On this Friday, we had to make reservations. It was very busy; always a good sign! We had the Crispy Battered Pickerel and Chips and the Manitoulin Island Trout. Both were plated super nicely and tasted divine - there was absolutely nothing left on our plates when we were done!

Very charming and cozy place! The servers were nice and polite, however, it took a while to take the order and the food to be ready but I guess because I was with a big group. The food was tasty and generous, they had a 3 course menu, I had the butternut squash soup, the beef cheeks and the apple crisp but it was too sweet I couldn’t finish it; there’s a nice bookstore attached to visit while waiting.

Always my go to spot when driving through Guelph! Every single item we ordered on the menu was sooo delicious! I loved how they had seasonal dishes too. Their flavours were very vibrant and comforting at the same time. Service here was great, our server was very friendly and quick with everything. He took time to explain the menu and any questions we had. We came here for dinner in the middle of winter and the atmosphere was honestly very cozy! I’ve been here for lunch as well and really enjoyed how bright and inviting the space felt. They had a small patio in the back for the warmer days! A
