We wanted to eat Ethiopian and someone had suggested Warka Tree so we checked it out. It’s in a strip mall and the inside is a bit dated but the food portion size is good and the flavors are delicious. we got the vegetarian platter along with beef tips. the red and brown lentils on the veggie platter were really good and the beef tips had excellent flavor overall great flavor and good portion size

Such a great Ethiopian restaurant! I absolutely love Ethiopian food and this place does it right. The portions are huge, it’s a good price and always so flavourful. I love the Warka Platter. It had a bit of everything. We also tried the Yeawaze Tibs and that was amazing. Great spice and the beef was so good. We wanted lamb but they were out. I’ve only ever gotten takeout and there tends to be very loud music in the restaurant when I’ve picked up.

The food here was good. Perhaps a solid option for takeout. However, we were eating in. As we entered, everyone turned and looked at us. We thought for a minute that we were interrupting a private function. Someone did come and greet us and seat us at a table. The music was extremely loud making conversation impossible. People were dancing and partying on one side and eating on the other. The vibe was very odd and definitely not what you'd expect for a restaurant. We ordered a platter for 2 and it was too much for the 4 of us. Everything was very tasty. I doubt I will return to this pl

We just finished a meal with two sets of our neighbours. 6 of us. The place has a wonderful feeling to it, and the service was exceptional. So friendly and clearly proud of their business. The food was exceptional. My husband and I ordered the Warka platter. The variety of items, beans, vegetables and meats were so full of flavour. What a fun night out to eat and laugh and enjoy. Will definitely go again.
