I had such a fantastic meal at AFrite! Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. I started with the dumplings, and they were perfect, tender on the inside with a lovely crisp edge. The drizzle of sauce added just the right amount of sweet and savoury. The gnocchi dish was the star of the night. The gnocchi itself was pillowy and creamy, tossed with strips of meat, peas, and a rich, comforting sauce. you can’t go wrong with carbonara . Wonderful Spinach Shakshouka. I’ve never had Shakshouka before and Chef Andrew Al-Khouri said it was new on the menu. I highly recommend! My hubby got the Canadian Breakfast + upsized. He also got a side of gravy which has chorizo for his hash browns (gravy like biscuits and gravy). He LOVED it. He is very finicky and loves to cook so this was a WIN for him. We HIGHLY recommend aFrite if you’re in the area.

Fun menu, good price point. I thoroughly enjoyed the donair gnocchi. I was afraid it would be a really heavy dish but it was well balanced and light. What a fun twist on a local tradition. The shrimp dish was very generous and we'll executed too. They even made a fresh batch of pico de gallo for our table and we loved it.
