Quai Chic Taverne

As much as I would like to give Quai Chic Taverne 5 stars, I cannot. While the paella was tasty enough, I've had paella in Mallorca and mainland Spain, and this was not that. The servers were very kind, but the main one attending to us never came over to ask if we needed anything, to refresh our wine from the bottle we bought, and 40 minutes later when the food was served, no side plates for the mussel shells from the paella. It's too bad because the atmosphere was really nice inside, but not enough to bring me back.

Went to Quai this evening to celebrate a girlfriends birthday. Our servers, Maude, was amazing - she was well informed about the menu and was able to work with the chef to accomodate a gluten and dairy free dish for my allergies, it was so good! Everyone else loved their meals as well, the tartar was delicious and the flank steak was perfectly cooked. Would definitely come here again + recommend to others.

Food was amazing, staff is friendly, service was a tad slow but not too bad. The atmosphere is a bit weird as you have the dining room, the bar and video poker all within view of each other. The zones are divided, but not by walls. The "Quay" poutine was really, really good (poutine with tender pieces of steak on top)

I enjoyed this restaurant so much. They had some fun options on the menu, clean, classy, beautiful, ambience, and best of all excellent service. It's rare to find a place in Canada that has excellent customer service. I didn't take lots of pictures unfortunately but the crème brûlée and the cheesecake were lovely and everyone on the table enjoyed their mains. I had the beef tartar and the French onion soup both delish. My friend enjoyed the salmon tartar. My other friend enjoyed the pescadore.
