We've been visiting the Round Table since they first opened. It's a great place to bring your kids, to hang out with friends (especially to try out new games, or if your home isn't well set up to host game-playing), or to eat! In the years since they've opened I've visited a variety of board game cafes in other cities, and this one really does stand out. Not only do they have an excellent variety of great games, but they've put a lot of thought into the menu and people do go there just to eat (in which case there's no game fee). I recently visited Round Table Board Gamerie in Lethbridge, and while the concept is intriguing, my experience was marred by several issues. The vast library of over 350 games is a major draw, but unfortunately, most of the games I picked up were either damaged or missing parts, which was disappointing. The food, though varied, felt overpriced. I tried one of their cakes, which tasted like it came straight from a grocery store, lacking any distinctiveness. This is a great place to come down and learn new board games, they have a wonderful selection of all kinds of games and they will help teach you how to play. The food is good with a pretty good selection but the drinks are fantastic. The Caesar is something else please order at least one to see how It comes out on top of your glass. The Caesar itself is really good and all other drinks are great.
