I wish I had found this place when I first got to London, Ontario!!! Not only is the atmosphere great, the sandwiches are fantastic and I got to speak Italian with the owner. Even better, I had a proper, “caffè normale”. Definitely a hidden gem that should in some ways not stay hidden because this is the place to go if you want a really great coffee and a lovely experience. ☕️👏🏼

I had such a genuinely great experience at Asmara Coffee House that I had to share. I arrived super early (around 6:30am) for a lash appointment nearby, and the owner and his sister kindly invited me to come inside and stay warm while they were setting up. That level of kindness and hospitality really stood out. While I waited, I ordered a chai latte and it was absolutely amazing. You can tell they really care about both their drinks and their customers. This place is as lovely as people told me it would be! I’ve been meaning to drop by, but never had a reason to return to this side of London. The people working here are so nice and warm, and the turkey sandwich in an everything bagel was to die forrrr. The place has a bunch of hand-made art, and they clearly support the Beal Art students, which is just so awesome. Also, I don’t typically like coffee, but I asked for an iced cappuccino and it genuinely might be my new favourite. Asmara Coffee House is a new favorite spot to grab a drink, a snack and enjoy the atmosphere or get some work done. The staff are always warm, welcoming and happy to see you. Their coffee and other drinks are top notch, reasonably priced and brought to your table with a smile. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable and during peak times the place is bustling with the conversations of happy patrons. Stop in for a drink, you won't be disappointed!
