As a former Chinese restaurant owner in British Columbia, I recently had the opportunity to visit Hat’s Restaurant. I had a very pleasant conversation with the owner and greatly appreciated the opportunity to tour the restaurant, including its kitchen facilities. I was truly impressed by several aspects of the operation: 1. The entire restaurant is exceptionally clean, including the dining area, kitchen, and washrooms. 2. Owner Anna places a strong emphasis on quality control and customer satisfaction. 3. The restaurant features a spacious 70-seat VIP room that is ideal for birthday parties,

ordered take out for Mothers day. Ordered salt/pepper chicken wings, they were not cooked and sent different flavor. The chicken honey garlic exactly the same as the sesame chicken. we ordered many side dishes, will definately not order from here again. This restaurant used to be awesome.. not now

My wife picked up Chinese food from Hat’s restaurant in Medicine Hat and it was excellent. She ordered the almond chicken with gravy (which was our favourite), ginger beef, sweet and sour boneless pork, beef and broccoli, Hat’s fried rice and Singapore rice noodles. Everything was fresh, tasty, had large portions and was not greasy. They have all you can eat in their restaurant, but we have only had takeout so far. Fantastic Chinese food in Medicine Hat.

Ken was our server and he was Amazing. It was out first visit and we were Very Happily surprised. The food was tasty with lots of variety and because it's busy its replenished before it's empty. You will not be disappointed. The Jasmine green tea was the best we ever had. PS they don't use MSG.
