A nice corner at the side of the elegant Église saint Viateur d'Outremont. This "Au pain Doré ' is very special for me. I would say it is a tiny coffee place with a few exterior seats and hard to find parking ! At the same time it's so charming and artisanal ❤️ see you again 👍

We went to Pain Doré one morning to pick up some fresh bread for breakfast. There seemed to be a good selection behind the glass counter and my young son picked out a nice looking multigrain for 6$ and we had it sliced. When sitting down to breakfast, we were surprised to find that the slices were…cold. It wasn’t that they were simply not warm, they were straight up cold! This rip-off bakery was selling their old, frozen bread as fresh! What kind of bakery does that? Stay away!
