A friend strongly recommends the Australian traditional savoury pies from Ta Pies, and there we are. There're many fillings to choose from, we went with the classic beef pie, and it was incredibly satisfying - rich, comforting, and full of flavor. One nice bonus is that you can also buy the pies frozen to take home and bake yourself, which makes it even more tempting to stock up. After trying the classic beef, I'm definitely looking forward to coming back and exploring more of their fillings next time.

We used to look forward to our visits to Ta Pies, but our last experience will sadly be our last. Over the past 10 years or more, we’ve happily enjoyed many Ned Kelly’s, Curried Veggies (our favourite) and Butter Chickens. After being away for some months, the pie that we bought today was almost laughable, except that it cost us 31$ for a virtually empty pastry shell. The minuscule quantity of chicken in the butter chicken was, frankly, insulting. If there has been a recent change of ownership, as inferred from a previous review, it is surely not for the best.

Ordered in Ta Pies through DoorDash for a cozy night in. They arrived hot and so so delicious! Serving size was perfect for me, not too big and not too small. I tried the classic ground beef.

I ordered the ground beef pie and a sausage roll through ubereats. They were both well seasoned and tasty. The meat and sausage inside the pies were very generous. The pies were flaky and not greasy. It was a very pleasant eating experience. I will definitely reorder. Keeping in mind taste is personal i rate the sausage roll 5/5 and the ground beef pie 4/5
