This coffee shop specializes in onigiri, and the atmosphere is definitely a strong point. It’s stylish, cozy, and well thought out — the coin-covered floor is a standout detail and very cool. As for the food, it’s average. For the same price, you can find onigiri at a kiosk near McGill that may not have the same hype or aesthetic, but offers more flavor and much more generous fillings. We had an onigiri craving (again) and followed it straight here, and honestly? Zero regrets. The place is wonderfully cozy. The menu is packed with creative flavors, and the ones we tried — spicy tuna and sun-dried tomato — were genuinely excellent: super fresh, well-balanced, and dangerously easy to inhale. Bonus points for the Valentine’s Day chaos: they’re shaping the onigiri like little hearts until then. Yes, it’s corny. Yes, it’s adorable. And yes, we are absolutely here for it.
