I’m really happy I found ¡Viva la Tortilla! I was looking for a local takeout spot where I could get good empanadas, and this place definitely hit the spot. I ordered the chicken empanadas and the cheese empanadas, and both were fresh, warm, and full of flavour. You can tell right away these are not grocery store empanadas or frozen-tasting empanadas. This take-out only spot is so tucked away, but worth it. The service was great, such warm, welcoming and friendly staff who patiently answered all my questions. I decided on the chicken burrito which was tasty. I also appreciated that there wasn't too much rich; the right ration to nicely seasoned chicken and other ingredients. I'd definitely return and try something else on the menu.
