I found the food here to be very tasty and a fair price. The service staff was very fast and personable, and easily handled odd requests (like buying one of their drink glasses). The atmosphere is generally good, but it being out on a dock the weather kind of effects the atmosphere overall. Had a great time, would recommend.

A nice afternoon with ferry ride and a walk about Protection Island. The drinks & food are reasonably priced. The service is too-notch (Kim is amazing as are the other servers). The fish & chips are ok / a little underdone batter but good fish and fries (large portions). Definitely worth a visit. Ferry is $15 return. People really need to stop talking at their tables in restaurants.

I work Fridays and usually grab dinner here afterward. The staff actually talk to me. They care. That's not something you find everywhere, and when you're dealing with depression and anxiety, it makes a real difference. They know me, they're good to me, and I actually feel comfortable here. This is why islanders love this place. It's about the people working here who give a damn. There's something about sitting on a floating pub, watching the water, having real conversations with staff who remember you. It's one of the few places I can just... be.
