I ordered ahead for pickup from Shawarma Royale on Yonge St in Newmarket, and my order was ready right on time when I arrived, which made the whole experience very convenient. The restaurant itself was clean, organized, and looked well maintained. I ordered a mix of beef and chicken wraps, and both were fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The meat was well seasoned, the portions were generous, and everything tasted freshly prepared. The wraps were put together nicely and weren’t messy or soggy, which I really liked. We just ate today. I got bowl shawrma mix , the chicken & beef are tender. Usually when we order from other places shawrma is dry but i'm glad here at shawrma royal both kind was tender and testy. Portion is big. It's not our first time and not the last for sure.

Ordered from the Shawarma Royale Newmarket location on Uber Eats on April 30th and honestly I’m pretty disappointed. We ordered two shawarmas and onion rings, and the onion rings alone were $4.99… for THREE onion rings. I’m sorry but that’s genuinely ridiculous and honestly insulting for the price. I’m usually not someone who complains about portion sizes or paying extra for good food — I’ll gladly splurge if the quality and portions make sense — but this was just absurd. On top of that, they didn’t even include the garlic sauce we paid extra for. Paying over $50 for an order and receiving 3

I ordered a Shawarma Bowl, Chicken Half Rice Half Fries. After 10 minutes, waiting to order (no one in the restaurant), it took about another 15 minutes for my food which then I was told there was no rice (why would he not say anything when I ordered). Then continued to make my food without asking if I wanted any toppings or sauce which comes with the bowl. Horrible experience, do not recommend unless you want to get into an argument with staff.
